And if you look around you, everywhere you go you can see the world cheering you by wearing your colors.

Sometimes your color envelopes you,

sometimes it’s hidden in a spot of tranquility,

sometimes it flies as high as your dreams,

sometimes it tells whoever wants to listen that you belong someplace,

sometimes you wear your own colors.

Promises were made to Mommy that we would cut the pumpkins and put some fun faces on them in good old Halloween style, but the Pumpkins are still untouched.More precisely Mommy was told that she cannot touch them, not to make pumpkin pie, not to make pumpkin soup, not to make pumpkin jam, and so on.

The only thing I’m allowed to do with the pumpkins is to take pictures next to them.And here are two outfits that have direct inspiration on YouLookFab.

Outfit #1 is a Mom on the Go Floop Proof Formula :

I did some alterations on the formula to accommodate what I have on my wardrobe but I was very happy with the outcome .I love this formulas, they are easy to follow, easy to adapt to anyone personal style and , best of all, always work.

Outfit #2 was my first attempt at Wearing booties with skirts and dresses.

I also liked this outfit although with this dress length and bare legs I was feeling very Gossip Girl.

And you’ve seen as much of my pumpkins as I did so far.

But this long weekend (it was Thanksgiving in Canada) I decided it would be fun to try to wear it in a more fall appropriate way.

Summer version:

Funnily enough our journey destination was the Blue Mountains, I swear I didn’t do it on purpose.The day was warm and sunny and we had a great time .

As it was the Apple Harvest Festival we had the opportunity to enjoy live music, carriage ridding and The West Coast Lumberjack Show.

This last one was something new for me and it was so much fun. Although trough the show the lumberjacks were doing heavy work, it was done with great humour and always engaging the audience, especially the kids.

And this was only Saturday.The rest of the weekend was spent with dear friends , taking all the kids out for walks and capturing the moment with the luscious Fall colors as bakground.

All in all we have so many reasons to give thanks for.

This was my last pink outfit  for now, maybe I’ll do some more before the month is over.

Whenever a bad thing happens in our lives we have a feeling that nothing good will ever come our way again.Each one of us deals with this in different ways, some of us go overboard trying to disguise it by being more extrovert than ever, others just close themselves up.

It must be one of our missions to our loved one’s to give them hope,to make them believe that there is a future worth fighting for. Breast Cancer can be dealt with if found in earlier stages,and having a  diagnostic is just the beginning of a process not the end.

Let’s get a bit of hope to the one’s that need it.

On another note I have to admit that I have been lurking in your posts because I haven’t had much time but I’m loving all the Fall outfits I’ve been seeing around.In fact I’m quite jealous of some of them.

In the first day of this challenge I went for a very dark pink . The reason behind this choice ,apart from the obvious one related with the amount of pink items I have in my wardrobe , has to do with the message I want to emphasise in this first day(for me) of this challenge: Strength.

Women that go through Breast Cancer, either as a suspicion or because they really are diagnosticate with it, are shaken in one of the most fundamental part of their being.It is not only a disease, it is a very intimate emotional journey.But they fight it, they do their best for them and for their family.

It takes strenght to admit that thinkgs are not ok, to face one’s fears.Let’s help others be strong and not be afraid.

Apparently downtown Toronto is a great place to build a mini New York city, and it is a common occurrence to see New York taxis passing by.

This weekend they were shooting a tv film and there were not only taxis, but a New York bus, Christmas decorations and even a little bit of snow.
